Bonito Beach Resort and Hotel, An Intimate Experience of Morong

Beach front, Bonito Beach Resort and Hotel
This is not a travel blog. But looking for a blog review of Bonito Resort and Hotel at Morong, Bataan on google results to nothing. So here's a personal take, a review of sort, having travelled, dined and slept on one of the most nicest place in Morong, Bataan.

First the travel. Morong is located in Central Luzon (part of Region III) and considered the 1st district of Bataan. It is 3 hours away from Manila through North Luzon Expressway. You can take the San Fernando Exit - Pilar - Morong, or you can always take the SCTEX. But choosing the later would add an hour of travel time.

Upon arriving at Morong, don't expect that there are direction signs that will point you to where the resorts are. If you feel lost, don't hesitate to ask a local for brgy. Panibatuhan or ask where to find Coral View Resort (They're on the same village).

Arriving at Bonito Resort and Hotel would be a bit of a challenge. Their parking area could only accommodate as much, but you don't need to worry, there are ample parking outside of the resort. The resort's staff are great, will greet you with warm smiles. There are no complimentary drinks, but you can always request for water. Bonito's bar/resto isn't available 24 hours, it's wise to bring gallons of drinking water especially if you're a large group.
so, how can we get out of here?
Bonito Resort and Hotel is an intimate place. You can rent a  Cabana for 3000php and rooms are available for large and small groups. You will find that their rooms are clean and sanitized. There's cable tv available if you just want to stay in the bed. The bathroom has a high pressured shower with heater so you can take a bath even on cold nights. All rooms are air-conditioned. Though they don't have room service where you could order from the bar and have your food delivered in your room, instead, you can order from their bar/resto and dine in comfort of a large tent or a Cabana facing the sea, watching the setting sun. Their Cabanas are highly recommended for large groups, extra tables and chairs are always available, even the recliners facing the pool. It is best to relax on these amenities while watching the sun set in.
Tropical rooms!

The sea. The beach-front is nothing of the unusual. Just don't make the mistake of taking a dip on a low tide, it will be very disappointing because of a rocky sea bed, but you can do snorkelling and catch small fishes swimming under the corals.
The Beautiful Sunset
Bonito Beach Resort and Hotel is one neat place, good for those weekend itch when you just want to get away from it all. Bonito Resort and Hotel is a place to see. And here's for a great weekend:

A NIGHTMARE AT BONITO 2 BEACH RESORT, MORONG BATAAN

We're looking for a day tour on March 19, 2016 in one of the beaches in Morong. A man approached us and told us that Bonito 2 Beach Resort had the best beachfront among others. We opted to stay there without comparing others' resorts amenities. We came in at around 9:15 am. We reserved a one room unit (room 1) in spite we're on day tour only because we wanted our things to be secured. We left our valuable things inside the room and we took our breakfast. I had a short one and went back to my room to get my wallet to buy dried fish. I was shocked because my wallet and cellpone were missing. My officemates' valuable things were still intact. Our things were in order when I left the room and we're still the same when I came back. I even put a towel on top of my bag and still on top of it when I came back. I ensured I locked it secure so I suspected an inside job did it because it was only less than 10 minutes when I left the room and rush back.I was the one who paid our bills during check-in so they saw my wallet and bag. It was unfortunate the resort doesn't have CCTV. The resort's caretaker told us they didn't have spare keys to all rooms which we didn't believe. The door knobs are ordinary ones which can easily be opened by a thief. If it was another guest who intruded our room, everything will be searched and all valuables will be stolen. The suspect knows what to target. Come to think of it, this happens in less than 10 minutes. It was a big lesson to us not to leave things unattended and left inside the room. This will also serve a warning to public.
